Fly to Vienna and transfer to the river cruise port to embark the boat. After comfortably settling into your cabins, we'll introduce our crew at a welcome cocktail. Our ship will depart at 2000. towards Melk and sail through the night.

MS Beethoven

Named after the famous German virtuoso, the MS Beethoven sails on the Rhine and Danube rivers. It takes cruise passengers to discover the many wonders offered by these two romantic rivers.

Completely renovated in 2010, the MS Beethoven is a standard ship that measures 110m long and 11m wide and accommodates 178 passengers in 89cabins on 3 decks. The size of a cabin is between 11.50m2 to 13m2, offering amenities and providing guests with all the comforts they need during their stay. The refined decoration and the elegant and friendly atmosphere are in perfect harmony with its environment. Located at the main deck, the restaurant, where all meals are served during the cruise, offers a delicate cuisine in a refined setting, where wide windows allow you to fully enjoy the panorama. Situated on the middle deck is the lounge / bar with a dance floor, while a piano-bar welcomes cruise passengers on the upper deck in a cozy atmosphere. Comfortable sun loungers are provided on the sun deck, the ideal place to relax and admire the surrounding landscapes.

Join us on an optional CLASSIC / DISCOVERY excursion: Visit the Melk Abbey (only on pre-booking before departure). We'll then cruise up the beautiful Wachau Valley all the way to Dürnstein, passing gothic ruins and picturesque villages along the way. Once we arrive, we'll take a tour of this charming medieval town with our hostess. We'll return on board at the end of the afternoon and continue cruising towards Bratislava.

Melk

Melk, set in Austria’s scenic Wachau Valley, is a highlight of Danube river cruises, best known for the magnificent Baroque Melk Abbey rising above the town. Visitors can explore its grand library, frescoed halls, and panoramic terrace, then wander Melk’s charming old town with cobbled streets, cafés, and pastel buildings. Join us on an optional CLASSIC / DISCOVERY excursion: the Puszta, its wonderful landscapes and unusual fauna (including a traditional horse show.) The afternoon will be spent cruising towards Budapest, reaching it in the night.
